Frequently Asked Questions
How do I prepare for a spray Tan?
Shower, shave, and exfoliate 8-24 hours before your appointment paying special attention to dry, rough skin around knees, elbows, and ankles. Do not apply lotions, perfumes or deodorants. These will act as barriers and could interact badly with the tanning solution. Remove makeup but apply concealer to age spots, freckles, moles, and other spots to avoid darkening them.
What should I wear for the tanning session?
Women can choose to tan naked, in a swimsuit or in their undergarments. Men must wear shorts or briefs.
What should I wear after the tan?
Wear loose dark fitting clothing and flip flops. Do not wear tight fitting clothing (even a bra!) that will rub your tan causing it to develop unevenly.
Will it stain my clothing or furniture?
Some of the bronzer may rub off on your clothing or furniture but it washes out easily.
How soon can I shower after my appointment?
For most spray tans, you should wait at least 8 hours before you wet your skin, moisturize, or take a shower. For the Rapid Tan, you may choose to shower after 2 hours
